At Al-Aghsan Foundation, we turn vision into action — with a deep commitment to sustainability.
Our story

The Foundation integrates environmental and climate responsibility, climate governance, and environmental justice into its strategic approach. It actively contributes to policy reform, advocacy, capacity building of government institutions, and represents Iraqi civil society in international forums.

The Foundation works in coordination with various governmental bodies to enhance the implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods, developing agricultural and green skills, and environmental protection, all aligned with national strategies and Iraq’s future vision.
Our projects are implemented in coordination and collaboration with several relevant ministries and government institutions, including the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and the Ministries of Education, Planning, Labor and Social Affairs, Agriculture, Environment, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Youth and Sports, and Migration and Displacement.
